Photos in Madison

Finally figured out how to get the photos off of Shannon's camera (which is what I used to take the photos since mine is out of comission for a little while longer). All the photos that I posted of myself are super hot!!! Like this one:

I had a great time last weekend. Thanks to Jen, and all my new Madison peeps.

Flying Spaghetti Monster

I agree with what's being said in this letter, but God doesn't look anything like that...

He looks more like this:

Spell out messages with satellite images of buildings. Neato!
Cheers to horrible pharmaceutical companies using real issues to put on a prettier more enviro-socio-friendly-mask. Yeah Money!

Although I did light the candle.

The Future

The Venus Project proposes a social system in which automation and technology would be intelligently applied and integrated into an overall social design where the primary function would be to maximize the quality of life rather than profits
... more

Some interesting ideas.....some a little more far-fetched than others, but certainly inspiring. I really like the galleries.

Girl's got it goin’ awn! Cool typography...very impressive work.

Quiz Time

The questions are fun and I agree with their labeling of me.

Your 'Do You Want the Terrorists to Win' Score: 100%

You are a terrorist-loving, Bush-bashing, "blame America first"-crowd traitor. You are in league with evil-doers who hate our freedoms. By all counts you are a liberal, and as such cleary desire the terrorists to succeed and impose their harsh theocratic restrictions on us all. You are fit to be hung for treason! Luckily George Bush is tapping your internet connection and is now aware of your thought-crime. Have a nice day.... in Guantanamo!

Today I enter a world forgotten by myself:

I am starting school again. A little nervous? Yeah, but I should be able to handle it.

Since I love my job sooo much I will be staying on at SC while taking night classes....well one this "quarter" which is how SCC divides there breaks. Anyway, just thought I'd share. Also I might be getting a new car...yeah!

And a world most people would like to forget:

Last night I watched a really great/ultra-twisted movie directed by Takashi Miike called Visitor Q. I recently have seen one of his other brilliant films called Gozu which I watched with good friends (Mathias and Ashley). So far there has been two recurring scenes/themes in the two films: 1) women squeezing there own breasts enough to have milk squirt from their nipples in which they seem to be getting off on. 2) men getting stuck penetrating women during sex and having a heck of a time getting out. Both of which are excitingly funny and somewhat erotic. Also incest, S&M, necrophilia...this guy throws it all in. In gozu there's a bull headed spiritman that licks people with his huge tongue. Visitor Q seemed to have more of a plot which I liked, but both films are worth a watch and Spindle has most, if not all, of Miike's movies to rent. Anyway.

Richard Buckner

Those of you who know me have probably heard me rave about this man whenever music is brought up in conversation. And I have very good reasons....this guy is a brilliant artist and poet whose songs have inspired me, over the past few years, to drink and draw and love. You might be sayin, "Dude, that's some heavy cheese you're layin on regarding this guy" and to you I respond: you're right, but you'll never know if I'm just a dorky sapp-ass or justifiably love-struck by his talents unless you come tonight.

Well maybe you already know i'm dorky and a sapp-ass, but you should come anyway, for I assure you that you will be completely overwhelmed with awesomeness.

Tonight, 9:00PM @ Sokol Underground
ERIC BACHMANN

I happened to stumble upon this today and was not pleased.

http://www.onebeta.com/
go to the list
and go to jake gillespie

In case you didn't know, Jake, I live on 15th street. Although everything Jake said about my street is true, he has a terrible outlook on the magical experience that ensues on 15th street.

Let me just point out a few things he did not mention that counter balance all of the things he did mention....

1) middle aged men cruising up and down the strip looking for "a party" (who doesn't love parties, Jake?)

2) husker fans screaming at their girlfriends about ruining their night and not going to the air show with them (great entertainment and a reasonable argument)

3) crack, as well as many other awesome things, is so much easier to come by (that's what I'm talkin bout Jake....crack!)

4) the street globes are pretty at night (apparently "Jake" doesn't like pretty stuff)

I know that Jake is not to blame for all of this however. It's his stinkin wife! She whips him into submission and forces him to be home and in bed by 7pm and therefore he wouldn't have the opportunity to experience most of these fabulous events except maybe #3.

Still, no excuse!

I love 15th street Jake Gillespie.....so get off it!

And to Alyssa, put the whip down already.

I do however condone the slanderous talk on 13th street....what a piece of motherfucking shit ass street.

Go to this tonight:

Keep the rotten fruits in your pocket this time folks....as far as I've heard this should be quite a swell reading.

Come out and show support for POETRY!

Plus the poster designer should be there and apparently he's wicked cool.

Why They Hate Us
Kelly Munson

I came across this poster today on posteroffensive.com. I couldn't blow it up enough to see what it says in small print, but the prominent message is amazing.

Very smart. Very simple. Very true.

Damn you Kelly Munson, I wish I had thought of it!

And check out the archives.....some pretty awesome stuff.
