OctopusMag/Books has a new website and some stuff for sale. Buy it! I have all 8 chapbooks and they are really cool. Mad props to Denny and Kate for slayin' the designs (to be clear, that's a good slayin', not a bad one).

Also, Mathias has some poems up on H_NGM_N.com and they are stellar. Good job buddy...I absolutely love "She Uses Her Pinky Finger When She Types".

Droppin' Jager Bombs!

This also is the kind of passion and intelligence I want to see in all politicians. Booyah!

Thanks PW for this comforting quote.

While I was on his blog to get the link I clicked around a little and rediscovered h o l d s t i l l which is good for a chuckle.
The White House Censor's...

(Big suprise) an Op-ed by Flint Leverett which covered issues envolving the Bush administrations unwillingness to cooperate with Iranian officials to negotiate a "grand bargain" more...

But the NYT has published a blacked out version of the censored article.

Flint has something to say about all of it on c-span.

I'm not usually one to praise an ad, but this is not only clever but really well done. Of course, I enjoy the theme as well.

Also, in my search for a good neandertal image I came across this article. Encephalization is the word of the day.

Just when you thought Bush and Snow couldn't possibly look any more foolish.....JS gives this weeks comments a little review. Complete with stuttering and nonsensical BS.

Chinese Public Health Posters

Thought these were pretty fun.
I'm hoping that this will act as the starting push of an accumulating snowball of evidence that will incriminate many members of our own government as well as Mr. Blair's. I'm quite sure, however, that it will receive little to no play in our media and will slowly decompose on the internets.

Happy thoughts!
Two sentences taken out of context:

"At night, a handful of women in need of shelter sleep upstairs. He feeds them, too."

Hysteria: Wombiness

Wandering Womb
Judge Mag

I love old magazine illustrators. I particularly like this one because thier expressions are so bewildering. At first glance you get what the artist was trying to depict with thier emotions (in case you don't see it, he's obviously tired from saving this idiotic girl and she is pretty thrilled to be saved by muscle man, duh). But if you take another look you might find a little story between the characters and/or thier lives (duhn-nunt-duhnt!).

I've never heard of Judge magazine, but I'd like to think of Judge as being a magazine for hunky Judges who lead double lives as life gaurds. This Judge has been caught read handed. Shame on you judgey!

Anyway, there are a lot more interesting illustrated covers on this site if you scroll down. Most are not as fun as this one however.

Photos in Madison

Finally figured out how to get the photos off of Shannon's camera (which is what I used to take the photos since mine is out of comission for a little while longer). All the photos that I posted of myself are super hot!!! Like this one:

I had a great time last weekend. Thanks to Jen, and all my new Madison peeps.

Flying Spaghetti Monster

I agree with what's being said in this letter, but God doesn't look anything like that...

He looks more like this:

Spell out messages with satellite images of buildings. Neato!
Cheers to horrible pharmaceutical companies using real issues to put on a prettier more enviro-socio-friendly-mask. Yeah Money!

Although I did light the candle.
